These cut-glass decanters once held Europes fine wines. Its likely that some of the wine was claret, a dry red wine from the Bordeaux region of France that became a favorite in Europe. These decanters from the Paris Flea Market are as various as the Bordeaux wines. Some are silver-topped, others have an intricately detailed glass stopper. Each has a lovely patina from the wear of time. Decanters range in height from 9" to 14". They make beautiful display pieces and create a sensation when presented as gifts.
