Espressiones Luna espresso machine is as much an elegant element of a rooms design as a mere java brewer. It can be wall mounted or suspended on a metal support, saving space in the consumer or restaurant kitchen. Produced in Italy, the machine uses mineral water bottles, or other bottles, as the water reservoir, which eliminates the often-cumbersome water tank.All this stylish functionality doesnt mean that the Luna skimps on the espresso-making process. On the contrary, it makes excellent espress´o and has a number of great features, including 15-bar pump pressure, a brass boiler with a .7-liter water capacity, a solid stainless-steel body, and a strong thermo block for instant and continuous steam, as well as a UL-rated, 1,450-watt heating element. There are two different systems for extracting espresso and for steaming milk, and a no-water supply protection system that shuts off the machine when the water reservoir is empty. One thing to remember when using the Luna: it only works with ESE coffee serving pods, which resemble a round tea bag and contain the proper amount of ground coffee--7 grams to be exact--to make a single serving of espresso. Luckily, Espressione also has coffee pods available in 100 percent Arabica, espresso, and decaffeinated styles.
