This is one basting set thats built to last. Quality construction is evident on every piece, from the stainless-steel baster to the sturdy stem on the meat thermometer. The pointy little scrubber does a great job of degreasing the baster--you can pop it into the dishwasher for an extra rinse, though. The basting brush is wonderful, with a thick handle, lots of topnotch nylon bristles, and a stainless-steel band to keep them firmly anchored; hand wash this little trooper for longer use. The poultry lacers are thick and wont bend while youre tightening the laces.
