With outward slanting sides for thorough stirring and whisking, this 2-1/2-quart Windsor pan is ideally shaped for making delicate sauces and for rapidly reducing liquids by exposing more surface to evaporation. Pouring lips form spouts on both sides to facilitate spill-free transfer of liquids. Inside, concentric grooves provide extra protection for the pans exceptionally durable, DuPont Autograph nonstick coating. The Hi-Low system creates narrow ridges to take utensil abuse, leaving low, wider grooves unmarred so the interior readily releases food even after extended use. The exterior is charcoal gray, hard-anodized aluminum for easy cleaning, scratch-resistance, and harder-than-steel durability. The slip-resistant synthetic handle stays cool on the stovetop and is oven-safe to 350 degrees F. For extra room the lid is high-domed, and for beauty its made of 18/10 stainless steel polished to a mirror finish.
