A great gift, this set provides a cook with enough versatility to accomplish most kitchen jobs. The chefs knife, with its broad blade and curved cutting edge for rocking through a chopping task, chops, minces, slices, and dices. The utility knife slices, cuts, and chops; its 5-inch blade is large enough to trim a chuck roast or subdue a head of lettuce. The paring knife cuts, peels, and cleans fruits and vegetables. Henckelss International Fine Edge is an inexpensive cutlery line made in countries other than the companys home of Germany. These knives dont have bolsters, and their blades are thinner and less strong than those of the companys premier lines.
