The 4-inch blades on these four slender knives convert a porterhouse steak, a lamb chop, or a pork roast into bite-sized pieces, though their blades have serrated edges that tend to tear meat fibers rather than slice precisely through them. Henckels International is an inexpensive cutlery line made in countries outside Henckelss home of Germany; this particular set is manufactured in Korea. The knives are stamped rather than forged from stainless steel, and the steel is of lesser quality than Henckelss premier lines.
