This sleek, all-stainless knife looks great in a contemporary kitch´en and offers excellent performance to boot. The 9-inch, serrated bread knife easily cuts through crusty loaves of rosemary bread as well as softer loaves of white or focaccia breads. Part of Henckels Twin Select series of knives, this bread knife has a fully forged high-carbon stainless-steel blade. The blade, bolster, and tang are welded of one piece of metal using Henckels Sinter Metal Component Technology, which distributes the right quantities of metal to each part of the knife. The result is a longer-lasting edge and a more consistent angle on the blade. The blade has also undergone Henckels Friodur ice-hardening process, which further strengthens it and protects it from discoloration. The ergonomically designed, stainless-steel handle reduces wrist strain and prevents slipping while slicing. The handle seamlessly encases the full tang on this knife so no food particles can ever become trapped in a gap.
