Plunk this 12-inch round cutting/carving board on a counter, and it stays put while you slice a roast or chop onions. The board doesnt require a damp towel underneath either, because soft Santoprene corner pads prevent it from skidding. Just a half-inch thick and therefore lighter than most cutting boards, its formed from nontoxic, food-grade polypropylene and wont chip, splinter, or warp. Both sides of the board are identical and feature a groove around the edge to trap juices or liquids when carving. The board is stain-resistant, but if it does become stained, soaking it in bleach for 15 minutes should restore the surface. Though imbued with an agent that inhibits bacteria from penetrating the board itself, the board wont protect users against food-borne bacteria or other germs and must be cleaned like any other kitchen surface.
