The Freud 24´ Rip Saw is made in England of the finest Sheffield steel which is hardened and tempered for smooth cutting and durability. Our hand saws have a special "taper ground" feature which results in the back of the blade being thinner to reduce the risk of blade binding. The red beech handle, secured by brass screws, is comfortable enough for hours of use without fatigue.
