Reproduced from a 16th-century original, this imposing clock is crafted in Germany, where clock making is a time-honored tradition. The "open heart" design exposes the eight-day brass movement to full view, and the antiqued brass face is engraved with large Roman numerals. The bell (at top) strikes the hour, and the pendulum swings as the weight slowly lowers. Face measures 6" across; clock is 27H" overall. Clock carries the Latin inscription tempus fugit-"time flies."
