The 16 speeds crush ice; blend frozen drinks like smoothies and margaritas; chop nuts, coffee beans, bread crumbs, chocolate, and vegetables (in water); puree baby food; shred cheese, and blend hummus and chocolate mousse. The three-speed pulse button provides precise control. The extra-large plastic jar sits flat on a wide base so it wont tip when serving.
