Hence, the Lumiscope 1080 blood-pressure monitor, a sturdy, larger-sized model that also functions as an alarm clock so you can put it beside your bed and reach for it as soon as you wake up. The preformed arm cuff with positioning label is easy and quick to fit with one hand, and during the day, it stores away neatly in the monitors self-contained case. (The cuff also fits those with an arm circumference of 12-1/2 to 16-1/2 inches--a larger size than typical models). It automatically inflates to the appropriate level for your individual blood pressure, and then deflates at the correct rate. The extra large display alternately shows blood pressure and pulse rate, and the monitor turns off automatically after several minutes without use, to save those AA batteries. Best of all, the memory function stores up to 30 measurements and displays them (in both numeric and graphic form) from most recent to oldest or as average values.
